12:29:15              We went from 0 to $900 just 4 years ago as an appraisal fee.  Years of never having a fee.

12:32:31              A fee is fine, if there is a PROMISED Service Level Agreement, such as getting a response to a question or problem.  I would like a SLA for time to response and a Tier system.

12:33:50              The CMMI Institute has made a gross assumption that the improvements noted in performance reports are due to CMMI adoption.  This is simply not true.

12:34:46              There was one presentation for the conference that had in its title “CMMI V2.1”. How did this title pass the review?  I don’t know, but I got it fixed with the help of Geoff

12:50:45              IF the ATM Field Experience description is required, it should be inputted by the ATM himself for once, otherwise we need to enter same info for same ATM in different appraisals again and again.

12:52:05              Yes, the ATM experience should be verified by CMMI before entering them into CAS.  This is really the best way.

13:03:53              Not every OU needs security.  Every organization needs it, but when you scope an OU, the security aspects, just like hiring and finance, might be outside the OU

13:09:47              I agree.  Part of ATM training is to talk about the specific appraisal and how the ATL expects to conduct the appraisal

13:10:39              Agreed.  I also think there should be a requirement to use the same interpreter throughout the appraisal from planning to the of phase 3

13:17:07              How many times do you have to train team members on how to characterize practices?  How many times do you have to train ATMs on how to do a preliminary findings presentation?  There are things in the ATM training that you can train on once or twice, but don't need to train on each time.  Customized training makes sense, but requiring the full team training each time doesn't.

13:21:00              How about a statement that 100% virtual delivery will be allowed until future notice with the commitment that there would be 3 months’ notice before any actual deadline?

13:23:18              I thought the point of being 'certified' as able to do virtual appraisals/teach was FOREVER.  YES, we do the Risk checklist, but I didn't think there was a drop-dead date on the Virtual Capabilities that we took training and paid for.

13:24:22              I don’t plan to get on a plane and go to China for years to come, so I will always have to figure out the set of rules that make virtual possible or not do it.  No long flight with the virus the world has changed.

13:25:48              Business has changed.  ZOOM is here to stay.  There is no going back.  Customers don't want to pay hotel and travel etc. for all of the Appraisal team.

13:37:09              For me it’s not about MAKING money for that class, it’s about getting team members with the “formal” training they usually already know anyway

13:38:43              For HM I don’t mind making some ATMs redo HM to get the three.  I sort of LOVE to MAKE all my team do HM with me “again” every time anyway.  That is my old style before HM concepts…. I always took one day to make sure they got HM down if they are on my team!
