Everyone,
The next Water Cooler - West session will be held this Friday, March 5, at
noon (EST - New York time). A "focus topic" for discussion will be the new
MDD V2.2 - what do lead appraisers perceive as the most significant changes,
what problems does it purport to solve, and what new problems does it
inadvertently create? Special attention is likely to be given to Appendix
A, "Virtual Appraisal Conditions, Criteria, and Requirements," as well as
the corresponding VSD course and appraisal checklists in the Virtual
Delivery Toolkit.
Other topics are certainly welcomed and encouraged as well.
This session is likely to be recorded as it will probably lead to one or
more MDD-related change requests and I don't want to rely on my
ever-more-fragile memory to get it right. I don't expect, however, that the
recording will made available for viewing by those unable to attend,
although a synopsis of the key topics may be provided.
The invitees to this session are all the current and former certified folks
I have on my distribution list plus lead appraiser wannabes and the 52
registered interpreters.
BTW, I have extended an invitation to Ron Lear to participate as the
featured guest in a future Water Cooler session and will let you know
if/when he's agreed to join us.
